A Little About Me...
A few years ago while fishing, I decided to take a huge step in my life and answer the call that I felt growing within me. I left my job to pursue my dream of becoming a professional fly fishing guide.
My name is Greg Hillyard and I am proud to say that I am a professional fly fishing guide. I guide in Colorado during the spring and fall months - during the summer months I guide in the Bristol Bay region of Alaska.
My philosophy on guiding is that it is the client's trip and that it is the client's experience. I tailor my guide trip to meet your expectations and create that lifetime experience. I know that your time is valuable and on a day off, you'd like to spend that day in a manner of your choosing.
When I'm not in Alaska, I guide along the front-range of Colorado for a premier shop, Anglers All, located in Littleton, Colorado. I'm an avid fly-tier and I sell flies too. Call me if you'd like a special order or some flies tied for you.
I'm fully licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, the State of Alaska, and I participate in annual First Aid and CPR classes as well as random drug tests.
